BETHEL, NY — The Steering Committee of the Nonprofit Leadership Summit announced that the 2014 summit will take place at Bethel Woods Center for the Arts on Thursday, March 27. The event marks the fourth annual convergence of regional nonprofits for the purpose of fostering collaboration, advocacy and innovation.

“The success of our first three summits has been very encouraging and we want to maintain the positive energy by continuing to offer our regional nonprofits the critical tools they need to advance their missions despite the difficult economic climate,” noted Karen Van Houten Minogue of the Community Foundation of Orange and Sullivan, who will co-chair the event with Linda C. Hartley of Hartley Consulting, Inc.

The winner of the Second Annual Innovation Award, which recognizes a nonprofit organization that has demonstrated innovation in collaboration, marketing, operations or programming, will also be announced at the summit.
