REGION — Realtor Davis R. Chant, founder of the real estate firm Davis R. Chant Realtors, which celebrates its 50th anniversary this year, has attained the status of Realtor Emeritus from the National Association of Realtors in recognition of his 40-year membership and lasting contributions to his profession.

Chant’s professional legacy began in 1964 with the opening of the company’s first office in Milford, PA and his co-founding of the Pike-Wayne Association of Realtors, an industry-based organization designed to provide programs and education, innovative services and advocate for ethical and professional real estate practices.

An active member and three-term past president of the Pike-Wayne Association of Realtors, he is chairman of the Davis R. Chant Realtors Board of Directors and a full-time realtor professional.
