MIDDLETOWN, NY — Physicians and staff of Crystal Run Healthcare came together to fundraise for the American Cancer Society’s Relay for Life. A total of $2,550 funds were raised by employees in a variety of ways including a practice-wide dress-down day as well as numerous raffles and bake sales throughout the last several months. Including Crystal Run Healthcare’s corporate sponsorship, a grand total of $14,550 was donated to the American Cancer Society in support of five local relays including Sullivan County, Newburgh, Pine Bush, Goshen and Rockland County.

Dr. Manuel C. Perry, Crystal Run Healthcare oncologist, helped to kick off the opening ceremony of the Relay for Life of Sullivan County. Staff members and providers from Crystal Run Healthcare were also at each relay with giveaways and educational materials, as well as selling raffle tickets to a variety of prizes. Crystal Run Healthcare has been a corporate sponsor of the Relay for Life since 2003.
