Fish for free day

PPL Wallenpaupack Environmental Learning Center, all day. This is one of two days adults may fish for free in Pennsylvania, so no license is required. Pick up a pole and tackle box at a participating Tackle Loaner Program location, like the Lake Wallenpaupack Visitor’s Center (or bring your own) and go fishing.

Hawley man sentenced to prison

Christopher Castellano, 22, has been sentenced to three to six months for trespass, breaking and entering, and driving under the influence (DUI). According to the Wayne County District Attorney’s Office, the sentencing involved two separate incidents.  Read more
