Learn to make origami stars as holiday decorations

LIVINGSTON MANOR, NY — Morgan Outdoors in Livingston Manor will host a hands-on program, Origami Stars and other Favorites for beginners, with Joanna Hartell on Saturday, November 29 from 10:30 to 11:30 a.m. This is an introductory class for adults and children from age eight and up.

Origami is the ancient art of paper folding enjoyed around the world and a great creative activity for winter months. Participants will make a festive star to hang in the window or on a holiday tree as well as other favorite origami designs.

To register for this free program, call or stop by Morgan Outdoors at 46 Main St., or 845/439 5507. Space is limited to the first 10 registrants. Hours are Monday, Thursday, Friday and Saturday from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. and Sunday from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.
