PORT JERVIS, NY — The Tri-State Chamber of Commerce will present the 16th annual Arts Walk Summer Street Fair to be held on Saturday, July 19, (rain date July 20) from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. with a movie at 9 p.m. on historic Front Street.

The event is free to the public, offering a combination of fine artists, crafters, musicians, dancers, performers as well as businesses in the tri-state area the opportunity to exhibit and sell their work. This event draws thousands of people and is a favorite of visitors to the region.

Local area musicians scheduled to perform include the Armoni’a Band, The Ponytails, Obsidian, Rick Skinner’s Lot 14 Band and Mark Lysogorski and the Black Dirt Sound. There are diverse styles and sounds from these local musicians, including original music from some. There will be local dance companies and troops again this year that will perform in the street.

The 2014 Arts Walk Program Cover art was submitted by Joan Kehlenbeck from the River Valley Artists’ Guild and selected by the chamber as representative of the vibe of the annual event. The movie that will be screened is “Despicable Me 2.” The businesses up and down Front Street offer food, antiques, collectibles, art, services and more. Back again this year will be CruzinPort, food vendors, face painting for the kids and other activities throughout the day.

Email the Tri-State Chamber for more information at info@tristatechamber.org or call 845/856-6694.
