Liberty Free Theatre presents Mamet play

PARKSVILLE, NY — The Liberty Free Theatre continues its tenth anniversary season with the second of its Beekman Pavilion Performance Reading Series on Thursday, July 24 at 7:30 p.m. with David Mamet’s “Reunion,” the story of a father and daughter trying to reconnect. Admission is free. The featured performers are Michael Frizalone and Courtney Roche. The Beekman Pavilion is across the street from the Fat Lady Café on the Square in Kauneonga Lake. The audience is invited to enjoy complimentary hors d’oeuvres and a cash bar at the Fat Lady Café after the performance. Mamet received the Pulitzer Prize in 1984 for his play “Glengarry Glen Ross.” As playwright, essayist, screenwriter, and film director he has been a major voice in American letters for a generation. Frizalone has performed with the Liberty Free Theatre in “The Dumbwaiter,” “Kinfolks and Mountain Music” and “Hughie.” Courtney Roche is making her theatrical debut.
