Modern dance performance celebrates nature

DINGMAN’S FERRY, PA — The Hanna Q Dance Company will present its annual program of contemporary modern dance on the outdoor “Stage in Our Woods” at Dingmans Ferry Bed and Breakfast, 1087 Milford Rd., on Saturday, May 31 at 4:30 p.m.

The program, inspired by nature and choreographed by Johanna LjungQvist-Brinson, will be performed by professional dancers Bo Pressly, who has danced with Martha Graham and Merce Cummingham companies; Landes Dixon, who dances with Reverb Dance, a professional company out of the Steps on Broadway; and Hanna Q Dance Company student Lovisa Brinson.

Musicians for this performance include Obi Kaye of Milford Music School (percussionist); Richard Cantor, MD (drummer), Amanda James, a high school senior from Wilkes-Barre (violinist); Dillon Arrabito, a high school senior from Delaware Valley high school (cellist); Pete Goodrich (keyboardist); and Mike Cutaia (electric bass guitarist).
