SHAWNEE ON DELAWARE, PA — Kicking off the festivities of the summer season on Memorial Day weekend, Shawnee Mountain will host the Shawnee Celtic Festival on Saturday and Sunday, May 24 and 25, 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. both days, on the grounds of the Monroe County ski area.

This event will feature three stages of Celtic and children’s shows, along with a bagpiper’s parade. Additional entertainment includes Scottish and Irish dancers, working sheep dogs, a Celtic wizard and Irish juggler. A variety of Irish and Scottish craft and gift vendors, Celtic food vendors, a wine tent and various kids’ activities, including a Celtic farm petting zoo and face painting, will add to the festivities both days.
