HONESDALE, PA — Holy Ghost Tent Revival will be at The Cooperage on Friday, April 25 at 8:30 p.m. Holy Ghost Tent Revival has been heralded since 2007 for delivering a fast-paced, horn-driven rock and roll experience. The show is part of the Concerts in the Coop series.
The band consists of six young performers from North Carolina who write dynamic, authentic songs and spend a whole lot of time traveling in a van together. Their music has tastefully gritty guitars, bombastic drums and plunky bass, not to mention the vocal harmonies and the flourishing brass of trumpet and trombone.
“[These] guys have really got something!” says Chris Hillman of The Byrds and Flying Burrito Brothers. “Soul-inspired rock, that maintains a rootsy sound, brightened by warm swells of horns and rich harmonies.” Since 2009, Holy Ghost Tent Revival has played about 150 shows each year, on both coasts and in many places in between.
The show is BYOB. Donations collected at the door. For more information visit www.thecooperageproject.org or call 570/253-2020.
