International Tabletop Day comes to Honesdale

HONESDALE, PA — The Cooperage Project will hold its 2nd annual International Tabletop Day, a celebration of board games, on Saturday, April 5 from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. There will be five teaching tables, where visitors can learn new games or polish their skills at classics. A life-sized version of Carcassone will be set up on the stage. Two local game developers will demonstrate their in-progress creations; help them out by testing their games and offering them feedback. A kid’s table will keep the little ones occupied. All participants are encouraged to bring their own favorite games to play. Attendance is free. Donations are accepted at the door. Snacks are available for purchase throughout the day from Camp Umpy’s (and complimentary bagels and cream cheese.) For more information, call 570/253-2020 or visit www.thecooperageproject.org.
