MONTICELLO, NY — The United Methodist Church (UMC) of Monticello is cooking up something special for a Valentine’s fundraiser on Saturday, February 15 at 6 p.m.

“Shorts & Sweets for Sweethearts” is a dinner theatre experience, which will include short stories and songs about love and romance performed by Carol Montana and De Lois “Cookie” House of Big Sky Productions. A special Valentine’s treat is in store with songs by Patti Greco Sunshine (tentative). And the entertainment will also feature the UMC’s Jeremy Mills as accompanist.

Guests will be served salad, meatloaf, mashed potatoes, ice tea, and coffee or hot tea. Following dinner, the entertainment will begin while guests are enjoying homemade desserts.

Tickets cost $15, and are available in advance or at the door. All proceeds will benefit the UMC’s purchase of new media and sound system equipment for the church. For additional information or reservations, call 845/707-1417.
