HAWLEY, PA — Harmony Presents will host Spuyten Duyvil (pronounced: “Spite-n Dive-l”) on Saturday, February 1 at 7:30 p.m. in the Boiler Room of the Hawley Silk Mill located on the ground floor at 8 Silk Mill Dr.
The band will propel the listener into a barn-burning romp through the last 100 years of American roots music. Hailing from the Hudson Valley, they perform with vocals, traditional jug band energy, slide guitar, fiddle and Chicago-style blues harp. Stephen D. Winick, of the The Huffington Post wrote, “channeling straight honky-tonk country one minute and drug-addled mystical blues the next....”
Cocoon Coffee House caters snacks, coffee, wine and beer prior to the shows and during intermission. Tickets cost $16 in advance and $20 at the door.
