NARROWSBURG, NY — When you dine out this fall, you can support the arts at the same time. Delaware Valley Arts Alliance (DVAA) and local restaurants and bakeries are partnering in “Savor the Arts—Restaurant Style,” a fundraising campaign to support cultural programs and services in the Sullivan County and Upper Delaware Valley regions. Restaurants will donate a percentage of each bill to the DVAA.

Upcoming participating restaurants are: November 7 to 10 (lunches, Thursday-Sunday), The Bakery, 167 E Front St., Hancock, NY 13783, 607/637-2253, www.thebakeryhancockny.com (The Bakery is also planning a special cooking class in April 2014); and Saturday, December 7, Gerard’s River Grill, 251 Bridge Street, Narrowsburg, NY 12764, 845/252-6562, www.gerardsrivergrill.com.

Participating later will be Samba Café in Jeffersonville, Fat Lady Café in Kauneonga Lake, and Dancing Cat Saloon in Bethel,. DVAA thanks The Heron of Narrowsburg, Konrad’s Kitchen in Yulan, and Matthew’s on Main in Callicoon for their participation earlier this fall.

“Savor the Arts—Restaurant Style” is a collaborative effort that helps both business and the arts. For more information call 845/252-7576.
