MONTICELLO, NY —The Fifth Annual Eugene D. Nesin Memorial Scholarship Recital will take place at 7:30 p.m. on Friday, October 25 in the Eugene D. Nesin Theatre, 22 St. John St. Featured performers will include current and retired Monticello Central School District (MCSD) faculty, Monticello High School alumni and special guest artists and music educators from Sullivan County.

The recital is Nesin Cultural Arts’ major annual fundraiser to directly benefit the Eugene D. Nesin Memorial Scholarship. Through the scholarship, aspiring young musicians are given the opportunity to participate in performing arts programs. The scholarship was founded in memory of Eugene Nesin, who served on the MCSD Board of Education for 33 years.
