HONESDALE, PA — Singer-songwriter Christine Lavin will be at The Cooperage on Saturday, June 8 at 8 p.m. From difficult men (and women) to today’s fads, trends and headlines, her songs skewer our lives and foibles. While she can move easily to poignant and reflective songs such as “Roses from the Wrong Man” and “Another New York Afternoon,” audiences come to her concert wanting to laugh.
Lavin invites people to join her in a knitting circle before the show.
The suggested donation is $20 in advance or $25 at the door. For reservations call 845/252-6783. Light fare will be available from Willow River Café; BYOB. For more information, visit www.riverfolkconcerts.vpweb.com.
