DELAWARE RIVER VALLEY — Two fundraising parties to benefit the Delaware Valley Art Alliance (DVAA) are scheduled for June. Savor the Arts with an Opera and Chamber Music Flair will be hosted by Janice Meyerson and Ray Scheindlin with Meyerson, a mezzo soprano, performing with Lenore Fishman Davis on piano and Ronald Carbone on viola, on Sunday, June 9 at 2 p.m., 544 Hurd Rd., Bethel, NY. A $25 donation includes a concert, hors d’oeuvres and wine.

Beach Lake Bakery will host a make-your-own pizza party on Saturday, June 15 from 6 to 8:30 p.m. at 258 Milanville Rd., Beach Lake, PA. A $50 contribution to DVAA includes pizza (with a variety of fresh toppings), soft drinks, wine and a Beach Lake Bakery dessert. Hosts advise to “bring an apron” because it’s a hands-on party.
