JEFFERSONVILLE, NY — The Noah Barker Trio will give two concerts of seasonal music at the Janice Center, on December 8 at 4 p.m. and again at 8 p.m. Pianist Barker will be joined by two fellow students from Purchase, NY: Dean Torrey on bass and Aaron Seeber on drums. Torrey, a native of Connecticut, has been studying bass since the age of 10, has studied jazz since seventh grade and views jazz as a sophisticated alternative to classical music. Seeber is a native of Washington, DC, where he was selected as a finalist in the 2010 Grammy Jazz Ensemble.
Tickets cost $10, or $8 for students and Janice Center members. Reservations are recommended as seating is limited.
