Filmmaker Ultan Guilfoyle to screen short films about architecture

LIVINGSTON MANOR, NY — On Saturday, October 20 at 7 p.m., the CAS Arts Center, 48 Main St., will show several short films by Ultan Guilfoyle, including four that document Frank Gehry buildings. Guilfoyle will also be on hand to discuss the films and answer questions. Doors open at 6:30 p.m. and seating will be first come, first served. There is no cost to attend.

Guilfoyle is an award-winning producer, director and writer whose films have appeared on HBO, Bravo and PBS in the U.S., and the BBC and Channel 4 in Britain. Films documenting the following Frank Gehry buildings will be shown at the CAS Arts Center: Gehry House in Santa Monica; DZ Bank in Berlin, Germany; Vitra in Weil-am-Rhein, Germany and the Guggenheim in Bilbao, Spain. A short film about Louis Kahn’s Kimbell Art Museum in Ft. Worth, TX, will also be shown.
