JEFFERSONVILLE, NY – Jeff Fest will be held on Saturday, September 15. Festivities begin with a pancake breakfast at the Presbyterian Church from 7 a.m. to 12 noon. Among the other events during the festival will be a tractor parade at 11 a.m., followed by the ever-popular duck race at 1 p.m., sponsored by Jeffersonville Enhances More of Sullivan (JEMS), a Sullivan Renaissance volunteer group. A total of 1,329 yellow, blue and pink ducks will be swimming from the Millpond to the Schadt Memorial Bridge with Jr. JEMS acting as duck herders, following them to the finish line. Prizes will be awarded. During the day, Daisy Duck will be swimming and waddling around Jeffersonville for free photo ops. Email jdjeffctry@yahoo.com
