JEFFERSONVILLE, NY — Jeffersonville Enhances More of Sullivan (JEMS), a Sullivan Renaissance volunteer group, will hold its sixth annual Duck Race on Jeff Fest Day, Saturday, September 15 at 1 p.m. in Callicoon Creek. A total of 1,329 yellow, blue, and pink ducks will be swimming from the Millpond to the Schadt Memorial Bridge with junior JEMS acting as duck herders, following them to the finish line. The last 28 “pokey ducks” (the slowest) will win gift certificates to merchants in Jeffersonville and Sullivan County. Daisy Duck will be swimming and waddling around Jeffersonville for free photos during the festival day.
