CALLICOON, NY — Following a successful season, the organizers of the Under the Moon in Callicoon concert series have arranged for one more event than originally anticipated, concluding on Labor Day weekend with a night of music this Saturday at the Callicoon Creek Park on Dorrer Drive, behind Lower Main Street. Bring the kids, chairs, blanket and a picnic to see the summer off in style.

The Secular Sextet will headline the concert finale. The group features Richard Traviss, Sean Zigmund, Miguel Gonzalez, Sean Murray, Katie Maloney and Darren Wiseman. The sextet writes, “We play uplifting soul-reggae-country-non-religious gospel with more fervor than any gospel band you’ve ever seen.” You can listen to clips at www.secular sextet.com.

Also performing will be Hoi Polloi, back by popular demand, playing a unique mix of originals and cover tunes, a little country and a bit Americana. Band members include Doug Rogers, Chip Forelli and Marc Switko.

Hoi Polloi starts at 8 p.m., followed by Secular Sextet at 9:30 p.m.
