GREENTOWN, PA — Promised Land State Park offers a summer fishing program geared to kids ages six to 15 who are beginner fishermen. Learn basic fishing skills such as casting, baiting a hook, knot tying and taking a fish off of a hook. You can bring your own poles, but free equipment and bait will be provided. Children must be accompanied by an adult. No fishing licenses are required.

The program is offered on Wednesdays starting on June 6 from 2 to 5 p.m. at the Falls Pavilion. Pre-registration is required. Call 570/676-3428.
