MILFORD, PA — Celebrating its Irish roots, the Columns Museum will welcome Celeste Aldridge in the closing concert of the Pike County Historical Society’s Winter Wednesdays series on March 14 at 7 p.m. The original owner of the 1904 neo-classical manse was Dennis McLaughlin, a man who was known to appreciate an Irish ditty or two.

Aldridge, from Shohola, is a vocalist and songwriter who began her career singing in the Celtic, British and American folk tradition. She has performed at festivals, galleries, theaters and clubs throughout the Tri-State area over the last six years both solo and in a band called the “Bluebirds.” Dave Nauman, of the Bluebirds, will accompany her.

The concert will be held in the Foundation Room of the museum, located at 608 Broad Street. Tickets cost $30 and include Guinness Draught and traditional corned beef and cabbage. Visit www.pikecountyhis toricalsociety.org or call 570-/96-8126.
