CUDDEBACKVILLE, NY — Warm away your winter blues with a hot bowl of hearty homemade soup, a warm roll and a sweet treat. The Friends of the Neversink Valley Museum of History and Innovation are holding their second annual Soup Dinner at 4 p.m. on March 3 at The Drew United Methodist Church, 49-51 Sussex St. in Port Jervis. For $5, each meal will consist of an assortment of 10 delicious hand-made soups (choose one), along with bread, beverage and dessert. Dinner will be served from 4 to 7 p.m. Eat-in or takeout will be available. Many local restaurants have committed to providing soups including Homer’s, Two Rivers Grille, and several private caterers.

You can also become a “Soup Angel.” To help those in our community who are in need, an option to pay what you can will be offered for those who cannot afford the $5 meal. Soup Angels are sought to underwrite this effort with a larger donation. Visit www.neversinkmuseum.org or call 845/754-8870.
