NARROWSBURG, NY — The Town of Fallsburg has received a grant of $1,240 for a free concert series that takes place in St. Andrew’s Episcopal Church. Mother Joan LaLiberté was on hand at the Delaware Valley Arts Alliance (DVAA) headquarters to accept the award on February 18, along with Certificates of Commendation to the Town of Fallsburg from State Senator John J. Bonacic and New York State Assemblymember Aileen M. Gunther.

The funds originate from the New York State Council on the Arts regranting program and are administered by DVAA.

The first of the two concerts that the grant will help fund will be presented on Saturday, April 21 at 8 p.m., and will feature The Bronx Opera Company in “Sing for Spring,” selections from opera and Broadway musical theatre. The second concert will be on Saturday, October 20 at 8 p.m., and will feature the Charles Mingus Jazz Quartet.
