HURLEYVILLE, NY — The Carl Richards Band (www.carlrichardsband.com) will perform at Woodsongs Coffeehouse at the Sullivan County Museum on Saturday, March 3 from 6 to 9 p.m. The band plays acoustic rock and roll, old country, original songs and a touch of blues. The band has been performing for more than 25 years, and has opened for such greats as Willie Nelson, Johnny Paycheck, Leon Russell, Delbert McClinton and Little Sammie Davis. The evening will also feature a debut performance by Sullivan County’s newest acoustic duo - Steve Schwartz and Antoine Magliano. Steve is well known among local musicians as a gifted guitarist, and he is also the owner of Steve’s Music in Rock Hill. Antoine hosts a WJFF radio show entitled “Strings Attached”, which features music from different genres performed on stringed instruments. Come see these very talented musicians in what is sure to be a cool performance!
The music begins at 6:30, and, as always the evening will be hosted by the Sullivan County Bluegrass and Americana band Little Sparrow. There is a suggested donation of $5.
The Sullivan County Museum is located at 265 Main Street. Visit www.sullivancountyhistory.org or call 845/434-8044 or 671-9548.
