YOUNGSVILLE, NY — Domesticities will present “Dom/exia” with a Light Touch, an exhibition of collages by Claire Coleman and custom lamps by Kathie Fitzgerald beginning Saturday, October 22, with a reception at 2 p.m. at 4055 Rte. 52.

Claire Coleman’s collage series “Dom/exia” is domestic yet dreamlike, a little surreal with a sideways nod to Magritte. They are colorful, thought provoking and fun.

For Kathie Fitzgerald, an ever-growing collection of handmade paper, colorful vintage fabric, old wallpaper and ribbons led to the birth of Light Touch, purveyor of custom lampshades. Styles range from Victorian to contemporary, elegant to edgy.
