MILFORD, PA — Books & Prints at Pear Alley, 220 Broad Street will host a book signing by author Linda Wolfe on Saturday, October 15, from 2 to 4 p.m. Wolfe is a journalist, essayist and fiction writer. She has published 10 books, many of them about famous crimes, both contemporary and historic. Two books will be offered.
Her most recent book, “The Murder of Dr. Chapman: The Legendary Trials of Lucretia Chapman and Her Husband,” is a true-life historical drama that culminates in a courtroom battle that raises haunting questions of racism and sexism.
A culinary classic, the award-winning “The Literary Gourmet,” is a collection of dining scenes from the masterpieces of world literature, accompanied by historically accurate recipes that were tested in the kitchens of New York’s Four Seasons restaurant. Call 570/296-4777.
