HONESDALE, PA — The Northeasters Honesdale Barbershop chorus of the Barbershop Harmony Society will present its 33rd annual show, titled “Barber Pop,” on Saturday, October 8, at 7 p.m. at Honesdale High School. It will feature songs from 1958 to 1970, including songs like “Hello Mary Lou,” “Raindrops Keep Falling On My Head” and “Blue Velvet.” The guest professional barbershop quartet will be “Wheelhouse” (Brandon Brooks, Rich Gray, Jeff Gray and Mike Kelly-Bass), which was the 2003 Mid-Atlantic District Champion. The $10 tickets (students $5) can be purchased at the door or from any chorus member.
The chorus is always looking for additional singers. Rehearsal is every Tuesday at 7:30 p.m. at the Presbyterian Chapel at 10th and Church Streets in Honesdale. Call 570/685-1554.
