FTAC acting classes

MONTICELLO, NY — The Forestburgh Theatre Arts Center will hold acting classes in the fall at the Eugene D. Nesin Theatre in Monticello. Classes will be led by Dana Martin, who began teaching theatre classes at the Playhouse this summer. A formerly Brooklyn-based artist, Martin is an actor, director and teacher who recently moved to Sullivan County. She co-founded Project: Shakespeare, a Las Vegas based theatre which inspires young artists through classical theatre.

Creative Dramatics for K through third grade will be held on Wednesdays from 3:45 to 5:15 p.m. and Saturdays from 10 a.m. to 12 noon from October 19 to November 19. Acting Basics for Young Adults for fourth through eighth grade will be held on Wednesdays from 5:30 to 7 p.m. and Saturdays from 1 to 3 p.m. from October 19 through November 19. And Acting Basics for Adults for ninth grade to adults will be held on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 7 to 9 p.m. from October 18 through November `17.
