BETHEL, NY — Bethel Woods Center for the Arts will welcome back its annual Chili Cook Off on Sunday, October 2 during the Harvest Festival at Bethel Woods. The competition and tasting will begin at 12 noon and end at 2 p.m. This year’s competitors include Frost Valley YMCA, Sullivan County BOCES Culinary Program and Sullivan County SPCA paired with Dutch’s Tavern. There is a suggested tasting donation of $2 which will benefit participating organizations. The event is sponsored by Jeff Bank.

Music will be provided by Love Assassin, performing on the Main Stage, and the Shots and the Bergen County Firefighters Pipe Band will again take the stage to combine their unique rock ‘n’ roll with bag pipes.

The corn and hay mazes will benefit the United Way Snack Pack Program and the Bethel Lions Club this week. Kids can create their own doll, puppets and action figures with Matt Sherman in the children’s area, or make their own tie-dyed T-shirts with the education staff from The Museum at Bethel Woods. Limited T-shirts will be available on a first-come, first-served basis.

The Harvest Festival is open from 11:00 a.m. until 4 p.m. Visit www.bethelwoodscenter.org or call 845/295-2448.
