HONESDALE, PA —A concert titled “Music for Music” will be held at the Grace Episcopal Church on Sunday, August 14 at 2 p.m. The concert, part of Marietta Mendler’s Girl Scout Gold Award Project, will feature local musicians performing a wide variety of music, and will support the establishment of a sheet music exchange at the Wayne County Public Library. “I’ve been studying music since I was seven or so, and I’ve been involved with the library almost as long, so this project was a natural fit,” said Mendler, a local piano student who graduated from Honesdale High School this year.

The suggested donation for admission is some sheet music. Refreshments will be served. Call 570/251-8117.
