SULLIVAN COUNTY, NY — Join food writer Stephen Fries on August 12 for a tour of nine of Sullivan County’s locally owned food markets and restaurants. The tour will begin in Kauneonga Lake at 9:15 a.m. at the newly opened Java Love Coffee Roasting Co., where participants will learn about the process of coffee roasting while sipping on a sampling of the local brew.

The tour will then circle Sullivan County making stops in Morsston, Livingston Manor, Parksville, Liberty, Jeffersonville, and Bethel, before returning to Kauneonga Lake at 2:30 p.m. The other stops are kept secret.

The tour is co-hosted by Christopher Bartlett, 2009 Connecticut Small Business Person of the Year, and producer of the “On The Food Scene” video series, which feature Stephen Fries sharing the stories and passion of chefs, restaurant owners, farmers, bakers and food producers from around the world (StephenFries.com).

Make reservations, which cost $60, at Chris@FollowCB.com or by calling 203/494-4806.
