Fort Delaware gets new logo

NARROWSBURG, NY — Eldred High School student Julian DeLeon, center, an entering sophomore, holds his winning entry in the contest to design a new logo for Fort Delaware Museum of Colonial History in Narrowsburg. Fort Delaware Gift Shop manager Pat Shearer, left, was among the panel of judges that also included Sullivan County Parks and Recreation Director Kristin Porter, Fort Delaware Director Debra Conway and Sullivan County Historian John Conway. Runners-up in the contest, all graphic arts students of Jenn Ritondo, pictured right, include Cassie Boehm, Max Ginesin, Alyssa Donnelly, Erin Donnelly, Jared DeLeon and Hans McCarthy. They have each received a Family Pass to Fort Delaware, while Julian has received a Family Season Pass as well as merchandise bearing his design. Call 845/252-6660.
