NARROWSBURG, NY — River Dogs on Parade, one of the most popular features of RiverFest, a festival celebrating music, art and ecology, is scheduled to take place this year on Sunday, July 24 starting at 9:45 a.m. at the former Narrowsburg school.

The parade, sponsored by Narrowsburg Feed & Grain and Dog Mountain Lodge, welcomes pooches of all sizes and shapes showing off their best finery. It will be emceed by TV critic Kevin McDonough. The event features prizes for Most Original, Funniest and Best in Show. All dogs must be leashed.

This year’s parade will feature animal communicator Brenda Seldin from 9 a.m. to 9:45 a.m. (during registration) and from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Main Street. Proceeds will be donated to the DVAA.

Registration costs $10 and can be made in advance by stopping in the Delaware Arts Center, 37 Main Street, or downloading a form at www.ArtsAllianceSite.org or onsite starting at 9 a.m.
