On Saturday, July 2, The Looking Glass Art Gallery & Studio, Ltd., 229 Main Ave., Hawley, PA will present a retrospective exhibit featuring the art work of Howard D. Becker. Becker is an iconic figure in Wayne County’s rich artistic history who, during the course of his career, produced a range of work from watercolors created during his years in Europe during the Second World War, to oil landscapes later in life.
There will be an opening reception on July 2 from 4 to 8 p.m. The exhibit will continue to August 2. Mayors David Hawk of Hawley and Jonathan Fritz from Honesdale and Becker’s family will attend the opening reception. Email lookglas@ptd.net or call 570/226-0782.
