CALLICOON, NY — Haystock, a fundraiser for Farmhearts, a not-for-profit organization dedicated to helping our regional farmers, will be held at the Delaware Youth Center at 8 Creamery Road on Saturday, July 2 at 6 p.m. The event will also serve as the July meeting of Tusten Concerned Citizens.

Haystock will be a celebration of our rural heritage, complete with live music, theatrical performances and a potluck picnic featuring dishes prepared by top chefs including Food Network host Amanda Freitag, world-famous chef Mario Batalli and Farmhearts own Heather Carlucci-Rodriguez, who was recently named one of the top 10 pastry chefs in the country. Organic farmer Greg Swartz (Will O’ Wisp Organic Farm) will speak, and Tannis Kowalchuk and Brett Keyser of the NACL Theatre will perform excerpts from their production “The Little Farm Show.”

Farmhearts will donate a portion of the proceeds to the Sullivan County Farmers Market. A contribution of $10 at the door is requested, and guests are invited to bring a covered dish to share. Visit www.farmhearts.org .
