WURTSBORO, NY — Red Eft Gallery at 159 Sullivan St. will feature a solo show of works by Phil Sigunick for its final 2011 exhibit, running from June 18 to July 16 with a reception on Saturday, June 25 from 6 to 8 p.m.
Sigunick has curated the Red Eft Gallery exhibitions since 2008. He studied painting at Syracuse University, the Boston Museum School of Fine Arts, the Educational Alliance in New York with Moses Soyer and the Brooklyn Museum with Isaac Soyer. He did a ceramics apprenticeship in Lambertville, NJ with Michael Callaghan and created and taught ceramics for 10 years. He has co-owned an antique shop in Manhattan, played back up guitar in the West Village and written and published songs.
Gallery hours are Fridays from 3 to 7 p.m., Saturdays from 12 noon to 6 p.m., Sundays from 12 noon to 5 p.m. or by appointment. Call 845/888-2519.
