MILFORD, PA — Two special walks that highlight Grey Towers’ landscape and the Pinchot family influence in Milford will be offered in May by the U.S. Forest Service at Grey Towers.

On Saturday, May 7, you can visit the historic gardens at Grey Towers National Historic Site and see them as they awaken from their winter slumber. The landscape tour, which begins at 11 a.m. at the Visitor Pavilion in the Grey Towers parking lot, features the historic Sweet Cherry Tree, seen below, and hundreds of bulbs in bloom.

On Saturday, May 14, a walking tour of Milford will provide information about the contributions made by the prominent Pinchot family to conservation in America and the Milford community since the 1800s. The Milford Town Walking Tour begins at 11 a.m. Participants should meet on the lawn of the Milford Community House at the corner of Broad and Harford streets. Visit www.fs.fed.us/gt.
