WAYNE COUNTY, PA — Children ages five through 12 can test their building skills at the 5th Annual Children’s Lego Contest during the free Wayne County Builders Association Home and Garden Festival. The contest will be held Saturday, April 30 during the two-day WCBA Home and Garden Festival, at Ladore Camp & Conference Center, in Waymart. Contestant sign-in begins Saturday at 1 p.m.; the contest runs from 1:30 to 2:30 p.m.

Two age groups are eligible: five-to eight-year-olds and nine-to-12-year-olds. Pre-registration is required. Prizes will be awarded in each age category.

The pre-registration deadline is April 20 or until registration is full; the contest is limited to 30 participants. Forms are available by calling 570/226-4941, or parents can pick up pre-registration forms at the Honesdale National Bank, on Main Street in Honesdale; or at Wayne Bank, on Route 6 in Hawley.
