HONESDALE, PA — The Philip Hone Gallery has announced a new workshop, Poetry Creation, to debut on Thursday, February 17 from 6:30 to 7:30 p.m. There will be sign-ups for a literature and poetry group immediately following. The event is a poetry free-for-all for those who love to tell stories and be creative. Mort Malkin will help participants create poetry in a group setting.
The new poetry and literature group will meet bi-weekly, led by Christine San Jose. Its goal is to provide a safe and nurturing environment to learn great literature and share the words of group members, while encouraging one another. It is tentatively scheduled for Thursday evening at 6:30. Email philiphone@verizon.net (put “Poetry” in the subject line).
